Coach introduces “Coach House” at the intersection of 54th and Fifth Avenue in the Big Apple!
Coach – a leading New York design house of modern luxury accessories and lifestyle brands has opened a Fifth Avenue flagship timed to coincide with the brand’s 75th Anniversary. The flagship store has been aptly named “Coach House.”
The store, which celebrates Coach’s heritage and history of craftsmanship, is located at 685 Fifth Avenue in New York City which is considered one of the world’s most prestigious shopping districts.
The retail space dedicated to the Coach brand – 20,000 square feet (10,000 feet selling space) was designed by Executive Creative Director Stuart Vevers in partnership with William Sofield, Designer and President of Studio Sofield. It features an interior that has a distinctive New York City attitude with the latest modern luxury evolution of Coach’s design and positioning.
The year 2016 marks the 75th anniversary of Coach, America’s Original House of Leather. In celebration of its 75th anniversary, Coach redesigned four of its most iconic and beloved silhouettes: the Saddle Bag, Dinky, Rainger and Duffle.
Coach Announces New Foundation Focus: Empowering Girls: Coach, Inc. a leading New York design house of modern luxury accessories and lifestyle brands, is pleased to announce a new focus for its philanthropic work: helping girls from underserved communities to dream bigger, and to get the skills and mentorship they need to succeed.
To bring this vision to life, Coach Foundation has pledged $3 million to Step Up, a non-profit organization that inspires and equips girls to reach their full potential. The announcement coincides with the brand’s 75th anniversary year and opening of Coach House on Fifth Avenue in New York City, marking an important moment in both the company’s history and brand transformation.
Coach’s $3 million grant, funded by the Coach Foundation will enable Step Up to expand its reach and bring its after-school Confidence Curriculum, mentorship programming, and college-prep experiences to a total of 6 cities, tripling the number of girls served annually. Launched in 2008, the Coach Foundation has provided over $39 million in support of a number of causes from breast cancer, to education, to domestic violence.
