6th Street Austin has come to become its own being that exists in the minds of both Austinites and tourists alike. The venue has come to be known as one of the prime spots for people to frequent when passing through the city, truly due to the various spots, it has to offer. From the immense bar scene that has created nothing but great memories for many, to the variety of delicious restaurants along the street that can satisfy almost anyone’s palette, 6th Street is truly an amazing cultural landmark for the city of Austin.

The street is extensive and runs throughout downtown Austin, with its main parts sectioned off between I-35 and Mopac. In this concentrated yet rich part of the city is where one can find the entertainment district of Austin and find a beautiful combination of locality and various cultures.

The restaurants included in this list cover almost all types of cuisine and culturally-rich food one can find in the city. From deliciously filling meals to co*cktail bars with creative drinks to satisfying sweets cravings, this list is truly the key to the best food on 6th Street. If I had to pick a few favorites from this list, I would definitely have to single out some options that offer me everything that I need. One of these options would have to be Eureka! The restaurant has an extensive food and drink menu and is truly a great ambiance for almost any event. Patrons are sure to have a great experience at this restaurant, as well as eat some great food.

Likewise, Ramen-Tatsu Ya is another favorite. The unique Japanese cuisine is some of the best I have ever tried and never fails to satisfy my appetite. The courses are huge and always leave me with leftovers, and the restaurant is a great place to take guests for a quick and easy meal.

Lastly, I can’t leave out Voodoo Doughnut is my favorite. I highly recommend this place to everyone visiting not just because it’s a great place to go after a night out for some delicious pastries, but just because the memories one will make from walking into this building surrounded by other bar-goers at 2 AM is something everyone has to experience.
